Love this feature! Thank you much. My husband is a physicist and the kind of inspiration he goes through when he works on deriving equations is very much what I do when I write poetry. The best scientists are looking for truth, like us.
When my husband derives the equation he’s looking for — one that explains observed phenomena, and he finds it — he experiences the same joy and satisfaction a poet does when they can pull an incredible line from the air, such as your wonderful:
I wish I had hair
sere as sandstone, thirsty for crude,
for sulfur
