The Secret Service has done a study on US assassinations, and there’s some really interesting findings available.

Here’s yet another way a hacker can use your public information against you.

How is it that the Eiffel Tower is still standing? (What, you didn’t know it was supposed to be a temporary structure? I didn’t.)

Does calorie labeling at restaurants lead to healthier eating? It’s a good piece, but it leaves out what I think is an important factor, which is that calorie counts don’t mean anything unless you know how many calories you should be consuming in a day. An 800 calorie burrito might not seem bad until you realize it’s 40% of your daily diet (for a guy my size anyway).

How big a factor was weather on the fall of the Roman Empire?

I’d say this is a win for the environment.
