These poll results are a couple of days old, but given the trend over the last two weeks, I think it’s fair to suggest they’re still accurate. Majorities favor collective bargaining rights, and oppose cutting either salaries or benefits to close deficits.
The level of veto power the governor of Wisconsin has is insane, and I’m not saying that because he’s a conservative. I’m saying that because no one should be able to veto individual words out of a law.

Wisconsin isn’t the only state where unions are fighting back. Ohio is protesting as well.
