Organized Labor Today

These poll results are a couple of days old, but given the trend over the last two weeks, I think it’s fair to suggest they’re still accurate. Majorities favor collective bargaining rights, and oppose cutting either salaries or benefits to close deficits.

The level of veto power the governor of Wisconsin has is insane, and I’m not saying that because he’s a conservative. I’m saying that because no one should be able to veto individual words out of a law.

The attempts to silence pro-labor dissent in Wisconsin are growing.

Wisconsin isn’t the only state where unions are fighting back. Ohio is protesting as well.

What do you do if you want film of violence at protests and the protesters aren’t cooperating? If you’re the Bill O’Reilly show, you just find another protest. Though next time you might want to check the trees in the background.
