There’s a new alternative sports site in the making.
The Classical is the brainchild of a bunch of writers and editors who write for the Nation, the Times, GQ, Vice, Pitchfork (and other notable publications), who are trying to raise $50,000 via Kickstarter. They are interviewed here on the Voice on why there is a need for alternative sportswriting, who they are and their all-time favorite fictional sport.
