TUESDAY 2/14: SMITH Magazine hosts another six-word story show with a focus on love and heartbreak, “Relighting Old Flame with New Matches,” featuring Rachel Shukert, Deborah Copagan Kogan, Said Sayrafiezadeh, Robin Gelfenbien, Mark Lukach, Shubha Bala and singer Tara O’Grady. There will also be a six-word slam following the main event. Also featuring DJ Spooky and special guests. 92YTribeca. 7 p.m. $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
WEDNESDAY 2/15: Page Meets Stage will feature poet Amy Lemmon, author of Fine Motor and Saint Nobody, representing the page and spoken word and theater artist Lemon Anderson, who was featured eight times on HBO’s Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry. Bar 13. $12, $6 for students. 8 p.m.
THURSDAY 2/16: Michael Showalter will celebrate the paperback release of Mr. Funny Pants at WORD. 7 p.m. Free.
