Thursday 4/5: Camille Rose Garcia discusses her illustrated Snow White release, chronicling the unabridged, rarely read, version of the Grimms brothers’ fairy tale. Free, 6pm SFMOMA
Friday 4/6: The Uptown celebrates first Fridays with a free show featuring Religious Girls, Mister Loveless, B. Hamilton, and French Cassettes. Free, 9pm, The Uptown.
Saturday 4/7: San Francisco native Jen McConnel reads from her short story release, Welcome, Anybody. McConnel’s works have been described as “both riveting and haunting…will remind you of Carver’s stories, but the territory McConnell has staked out is unquestionably her own.” Free, 7pm, Green Apple.
