Tuesday 4/24: Comedian Eric Barry is at LOL for LLS, a fundraiser for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Donation based, 8-10pm, Milk Bar.

Wednesday 4/25: El Rio hosts a donation-based grilled cheese party benefitting FeelGoodWorld. Burlesque following sandwich-eating. Donation based, 6pm. Oakland’s Feelmore 510 hosts “Ask a Ho,” a panel of Bay Area-based sex workers moderated by Shannon Williams of the Sex Workers Outreach Project. Free, 7:30-9:30.

Thursday 4/26: David Vann reads from Dirt, the author’s fifth novel telling “the story of twenty-two-year-old Galen, who lives with his emotionally dependent mother in a kind of eccentric isolation.” Free, 7:30 Booksmith

Friday 4/27: Wrap up National Poetry Month at City Hall with Poems Under the Dome, San Francisco’s largest open mic poetry night. Free, 5:30-8pm.

Saturday 4/28: Open Studios all day at Hunter’s Point studios. Muni Diaries celebrates its fourth year of bringing monthly readings to the city. Free, 6pm The Make Out Room.
