Wednesday 7/18: Dave Eggers signs A Hologram for the King at Green Apple Books. Free, 12pm. Jory John is at Chronicle Books Metreon to launch and sign All my Friends Are Still Dead, the follow up to the author’s 2010 collaboration with illustrator Avery Monsen. Free, 6pm.
Thursday 7/19: Modern Times Books hosts a launch and reading of Occupy SF: Poems From the Movement, an “intergenerational collection of poetry and art in the bold spirit of the Occupy movement.” Free, 7pm.
Friday 7/20: Femme Cartel opens Fashionably Drawn, an “art show of gallery-quality illustration/drawings/paintings on fashion and/or personal style, especially in the girly/urban context,” at Public Works. Free, 6pm.
Saturday 7/21: The Bay Area Free Book Exchange drops again today. Pick up as many as you want, drop off policy just the same.
Sunday 7/22: The fifth annual LaborFest Poetry and Book Fair takes place at the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts. This year featuring speakers and panel discussions all day. Free, 10am-9pm.
