Brace yourselves: The Believer‘s totally rad rock show, The Love Songs for Lamps Roadshow, is coming to San Francisco this Sunday!

In conjunction with its 2012 Music Issue—which you can buy here and read excerpts from hereThe Believer has spent all of August touring a handful of rock stars around the country so they can get their bass on and show you a good time.

The line-up is comprised of artists featured on the Calvin Johnson-curated “Love Songs for Lamps Music Cassette,” and the SF show will include Johnson himself, Katie & the Lichen, The Shivas, The Memories, Laura Leif & A.P.B., Tomorrow’s Tulips, Mom, and Happy Noose.

The roadshow will be happening at Café du Nord (2170 Market St.) this Sunday, August 19th. Doors open at 8 pm, and tickets are only $8—so cheap, you can’t afford not to go! It’s also all ages, so all you kids can rock out, too.
