The new Fleet Foxes backed arts and lit magazine, The Unified Field, launches on September 18th and proceeds go to 826 National.
The new lit mag will come with an 10″ vinyl pressing of unreleased, raw tracks from the likes of Bonnie “Prince” Billy and the Grizzly Bear-related Department of Eagles among others, while the 60 pages of writing focuses on “transition”, the theme of the first issue. It will feature an essay by the recently freed West Memphis 3 member Damien Echols on adjusting to life after death row, a photo essay on adolescence by photographer Autumn de Wilde, a piece by SPIN’s Editorial Director Charles Aaron on his selections from African magazine Transition, and 30+ other pieces.

Only 500 copies will be released to record and book stores on Sept 18 and unfortunately pre-ordered copies are sold out at the moment. Check back for additional availability here or visit one of these shops on release day:
