Remember “spinster aunt and gentleman farmer” Twisty Faster?
Her blog I Blame the Patriarchy, a perpetual source of fantastic writing and radical feminism, has grown quieter and quieter these past several months, due, according to her sidebar, to “[t]he crushing demands of patriarchy blaming.” We can all relate.
That blog has now been suspended indefinitely in favor of a (mostly) politics-free blog about life on a ranch in central Texas. Dreadful Acres is its name, and recent topics of note include temperamental horses, temperamental cats, and temperamental farriers/aviators whose planes circle in the sky “like a vulture in a vast blue toilet.” Highly recommended for those who would prefer to experience nature via the Internet.
