Occupy Sandy has started an Amazon wedding registry of supplies for those whose belongings were lost in the Frankenstorm. The list runs around $75,000 and allows people to click and donate items that are shipped to the Occupy Sandy Relief Outpost in Brooklyn. Yet, at the Village Voice, James King takes a stand against Amazon.com’s refusal to waive or reduce shipping fees, a deterrent for people to make donations.
