Achewood was the verbal king of webcomics, with endlessly inventive turns of phrase and quotable lines in virtually every strip. Then it petered out and has updated only sporadically for the past few years.
But late last night, its creator, Chris Onstad, debuted a short clip of his characters in living, moving color. Yes—animated Achewood. And he’s pitching it to networks.
Here’s hoping it won’t be too long until we’re all cracking open crispy Stellas to watch the “Great Outdoor Fight” arc on our TV screens.
