Exciting news: the National Book Critics Circle has recognized two recent Rumpus interviewees with awards!
One is Andrew Solomon, whom we interviewed in December. His book Far From the Tree, about parents raising children who are significantly different from them in some way, won in the general nonfiction category.
The other, Marina Warner, won in the criticism category for her book Stranger Magic, which explores the influence The Arabian Nights had on Western magical thinking. You can read our interview with her here.
Congratulations to both!
