Tuesday 3/12: Do you love San Francisco? And wait, do you love literature? How about formerly abandoned, beautiful old buildings repurposed to house a city museum? The SF Historical Society hosts A Literary Love Affair with San Francisco, at the recently reopened Old Mint, and its $10. 7:30pm.
Wednesday 3/13: Christian Kiefer and Panio Gianopoulos are at Booksmith to read from their recent releases, Infinite Tides and A Familiar Beast. Free, 7pm.
Thursday 3/14: San Francisco on-the-cheap mainstay Broke-Ass Stuart joins fellow local legends Woody LaBounty, and Laureano Faed for Hooch, Harlots & History: Vice in San Francisco. Featuring live music and rare archival footage. 7pm, $10, FlipSide.
Friday 3/15: Press Works hosts poet Matthew Zapruder, author Lizzy Acker, and Michael Heald, publisher of Perfect Day Publishing. They’re confessional, and joined by the band Swells. free, 7pm.
