If you, like Kurt Vonnegut, are a fan of Adobe Books, you’ll be happy to hear that after all the twists, turns, and loop-de-loops of the past few months, the beloved bookstore has raised enough money to stay open as a cooperative.
Changes to Adobe’s business model will include monthly memberships, an online store, and an enhanced line of merchandise, all intended to “ensure that Adobe’s around for a long time.”
Let’s all raise a glass of champagne, but let’s also remember that it will still be essential to give Adobe love, support, and patronage to keep its doors open and avoid more emotional roller-coaster rides.
