Monday 6/17: Porchlight reading series presents Impostors: “an unforgettable evening of stories about the terrible and surprising things we do for fame, fortune, and revenge.” 8pm, Verdi Club.

Tuesday 6/18: Modern Times Books opens its doors for a future program and events brainstorming session to bring four decades of community engagement into the future. Get in on it tonight from 7-9pm.

Wednesday 6/19: Tao Lin reads from his recent release, Taipei, “a depiction of living life on the fringe in America and an ode–or lament–to the way we live now.” Free, 7:30 Booksmith

Thursday 6/20: Poetry Flash presents a Poetic Matrix reading with Chris Hoffman and Kim Shuck. Free, 7:30 Moe’s

Saturday 6/22: Bird and Beckett books presents Bits of Beckett, with George Kilingsworth and Hal Hughes performing interlaced fragments from the works of Samuel Beckett. Free,  8pm.
