Today marks the first day of this year’s Great Write Off, an annual literary fundraiser in Michigan.
Much like walk-a-thon-style fundraisers, the Great Write Off asks people to sponsor teams of writers and pledge money for each page they write. That money goes to literary nonprofits like 826 Michigan and Dzanc Books,
