To ring in the new year, xkcd’s Randall Munroe compiled some predictions from the early 1900s about the twenty-first century in general and 2014 in particular.
Some are laughably wrong, some are uncomfortably accurate, and a few are just sort of weird (if only we did “subsist entirely on jellies” in 2014, you optimistic denizen of 1903!).
