The Rumpus is trying to raise $15,000 to finish our first movie, an adaptation of Stephen Elliott’s novel Happy Baby.
The Web Promo Award: Susan Orlean, The Rumpus and Stephen Elliott and others will tweet your link and/or twitter handle to over 350,000 combined followers. We’ll also design a web ad for you, 300 pixels wide by 250 high, and run your advertisement on The Rumpus for 250,000 page views.
The Full Rumpus Award: Free admission to any Rumpus event in any city for the next three years, a Write Like A Motherfucker coffee mug, a Rumpus tote bag, and a one year subscription to Letters In The Mail and the Rumpus Book Club. Includes an invitation to an early screening of Happy Baby, a free download of the movie, and a digital copy of the script.
The Coffee or Skype Award: Coffee or Skype with director Stephen Elliott or leading actors Bill Heck or Eric Nelson. Includes a signed copy of the book, a download of the movie, and an invitation to an early screening of the finished movie.
Other awards include 10 texts (sexts?) from Jenny Zhang, film stills from Paul Sarkis, and copies of Goodbye To All That signed by the contributors.
