Monday 6/23: Alan Furst discusses and signs Midnight in Europe. 7 p.m. at Vroman’s Bookstore.

Tuesday 6/24: Book Soup presents Damien Echols and Lorri Davis discussing and signing Yours for Eternity: A Love Story on Death Row. 7 p.m. at the New Beverly Cinema (not at Book Soup!). $30 gets you one copy of the book and two tickets, buy them here.

Wednesday 6/25: Brando Skyhorse reads from Take This Man. 7:30 p.m. at Skylight Books.

The book release party for Explosions: Stories of our Landmined World, featuring editor Scott Bradley, and authors Ryan Gattis, John Skipp, Eric Shapiro, Terrill Lee Lankford, Will Huston, and legendary actress/singer/performance artist Ann Magnuson, reading for the late Amy Wallace. The book is a fundraiser for MAG, a nonprofit devoted to clearing landmines. 7:30 p.m. at Stories Books and Cafe.

Thursday 2/26: Adam Wilson reads from What’s Important is Feeling, and Karolina Waclawiak reads from How to Get Into the Twin Palms. 7:30 p.m. at Skylight Books.

Xach Fromson is a native Angeleno and the co-host/co-founder of Shades & Shadows, a sci-fi/fantasy/horror/etc. reading series here in LA. He studied creative writing at California State University Northridge, where he worked on The Northridge Review. He received an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of California Riverside Palm Desert Low Residency program, and is finishing his first novel. He appeared at Dirty Laundry Lit's "Love Sucks" event in February 2013, and has stories published in "Halloween Tales" and "Winter Horror Days" from Omnium Gatherum press. And once, he slew a dragon.
