Love and Hate

By

Sometimes we can’t help but blame the people we need for making us need them. In an essay for the New York Times’Modern Love column, Rumpus contributor Anna March writes about the fear of losing someone she depends on:

Reading online that night, I knew I was right. His injury had devastated him long ago, and he had recovered. He was strong. But he was not as strong as I needed him to be. He was not strong enough to keep me from losing him.

Anna and her husband Adam narrate their story in an accompanying animated video, which you can watch after the break, or find here.
