Never judge an author by her shoes. Of course, readers do judge authors on how they look, giving authors one more thing to worry about. Over at Beyond the Margins, E.B. Moore ponders what to wear to her book launch:
To help me prepare for this launch, a friend gave me a pair of high heels. Blue, my mother’s favorite color. If she were alive, she’d want to take me shopping for a dress. Well, maybe not. She gave up, the year I bought a set of blue leathers and a motorcycle to match.
