As if you weren’t already counting down the days until spring, here’s one more thing to look forward to. Girls Write Now, a program that helps underserved teenage girls in NYC develop their writing, has just announced its 2015 CHAPTERS reading series, which will pair writers like Roxane Gay and Emily St. John Mandel together with up-and-comers from the program to blow us all away with their powerful words. Great literature, community of writers, female empowerment. All good things. Go get ’em.
