We’re all used to Miley Cyrus making the news, but the latest is nothing short of impressive: She’s been working towards founding a charity to “fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBT youth, and other vulnerable populations,” according to the Happy Hippie Foundation site. To promote the charity’s work, Cyrus launched a “Backyard Sessions” performance series this weekend, kicking it off with a cover of The Replacements song, “Androgynous,” performed by none less than Joan Jett, Laura Jane Grace (Against Me!), and Miley herself.
