Westrick is the author of Brotherhood (Viking/Penguin Young Readers 2013), winner of the Jefferson Cup Award, the Housatonic Book Award, the Jane Addams Honor Award, and the NCSS Notable Trade Book Award. Brotherhood also made the ALA’s 2014 list of Best Fiction for Young Adults, and was a Junior Library Guild Selection. She and her family live near Richmond, VA.
