Celebrate literary community during winter’s darkest days: join The Rumpus and Electric Literature for a warm night of literary merriment and readings from Melissa Febos, Alexandra Kleeman, Alex Mar, Lincoln Michel, and Angel Nafis.
Melissa Febos is the author of the memoir Whip Smart and a forthcoming essay collection, Abandon Me. Alexandra Kleeman‘s debut novel You Too Can Have a Body Like Mine enters a surreal world of reality television and chemical-rich foods. Alex Mar’s Witches of America explores modern witchcraft across the United States. Lincoln Michel is the editor-in-chief of Electric Literature and his debut Upright Beasts is a darkly comic collection of odd and unexpected stories. Angel Nafis is the author of the poetry collection BlackGirl Mansion.
