Anne-Marie Slaughter’s latest book, Unfinished Business, “suggests that equality cannot be achieved unless men and women are equally responsible for raising a family and bringing home income,” the Globe and Mail reported. Her solution? The modern workplace needs to change:
Women want what men have. They want the ability to have a career and a family too. And the minute you say ‘have it all,’ it makes us sound selfish. It makes us sound entitled. It makes us sound like we are reaching for something that men don’t reach for, but that is just not true—what women want is equality.
