Over the weekend, BuzzFeed Books launched Reader, a new platform for short fiction, poetry, and longform essays. Included in the initial lineup is “If A Book Is Locked There’s Probably A Good Reason For That Don’t You Think,” a short story excerpted from Helen Oyeyemi’s newly published collection.
