It used to be you could get an advertiser for a month; now it’s all directly linked to how many pageviews you get.
After a fourteen year run, Jessa Crispin retires Bookslut to focus on other projects. Along the way she has brought attention to sometimes obscure but always worthy titles not covered by others.
