This week’s theatre recommendation is Beach Blanket Babylon: Christmas Edition. There are many Christmas theatre options in San Francisco, from A.C.T.’s celebrated Christmas Carol to the hilarious drag show, The Golden Girls Christmas Episodes. But there is nothing quite like Beach Blanket Babylon. Beach Blanket Babylon has been with us for nearly half a century now, through times turbulent and tragic. It saw us through the Reagan years and it’ll be here after the Donald’s orange hair has set like a Technicolor tarantula into the rising Pacific. Steve Silver’s love note to our fair city has never been more needed or appreciated. For further information, click here.
