Tuesday 11/29: City Lights welcomes readers Eavan Boland (A Poet’s Dublin) and Ari Banias (Anybody: Poems). Free, 7 p.m., City Lights.

This week’s theatre recommendation is the San Francisco premiere of Rapture, Blister, Burn at the Custom Made Theatre Company. Gina Gionfriddo’s hilarious, didactic, and insightful Pulitzer-nominated exploration of gender politics touches on the history of feminism, Internet porn, academia, raising a gay child, marital compromise, aging, and more.
