We’re sending our next Letter for Kids from Sarah Prineas! Sarah writes to us about creating maps, and runes, and her collection of dragons!

And remember, Letters for Kids helps us keep The Rumpus running—so, your children can correspond with their favorite writers and you’ll support the website in one fell swoop.
Sarah Prineas lives in rural Iowa with a mad scientist husband, two kids, two dogs, two cats, chickens, bees, and a bunch of goats. Her main thing is writing—she loves to write, and talk about writing, and write emails to other writers. And reading. She reads a lot. Mostly fantasy, but also romance and regular fiction. She lives on 40 acres out in the countryside, and is working to restore the woods and prairie. So basically she’s either writing or she’s outside working the land, canoeing around her lake, hiking, or gardening. Or wrangling goats.
