We’re getting ready to send out our next Letter in the Mail, and it’s from poet and writer Kate Colby! Kate takes comfort in writing a letter to us while while “embroiled in an extreme emotional situation.”
Want to know what’s got Kate so upset? Subscribe to Letters in the Mail before April 14! And remember, Letters in the Mail helps us keep The Rumpus running—so, you can correspond with your favorite writers and support the website in one fell swoop.
Kate Colby‘s seventh book of poetry, The Arrangements, is forthcoming from Four Way Books in 2018. Fruitlands won the Norma Farber First Book Award in 2007. She grew up in Boston, is a founding board member of the Gloucester Writers Center in Massachusetts and currently lives with her family in Providence, RI.
