Friday 9/8: Visit Women & Children First to celebrate the launch of Sahar Mustafah’s debut, prize-winning short story collection, Code of the West. 7:30 p.m., free.

Monday 9/11: Women & Children First hosts an author conversation with Reshma Saujani and Veronica Roth. The two authors will be discussing Reshma’s new book Girls Who Code. 7 p.m., free.

Tuesday 9/12: Visit Voice Box Stories for an evening of live lit hosted by Maureen Muldoon. Featuring readings from local writers and songs by Cathy Richardson of Jefferson Starship. Fitzgerald’s Night Club in Berwyn, 8 p.m., free.

Wednesday 9/13: The Book Cellar welcomes Robin Sloan as he reads from his new book, Sourdough. 7 p.m., free.

The Poetry Foundation hosts Poetry off the Shelf featuring readings by Kaveh Akbar and Charif Shanahan. 7 p.m., free.

Thursday 9/14: Head back to Women & Children First for an author conversation between Jimin Han and Juan Martinez. The two authors will be discussing Jimin’s novel, A Small Revolution. 7:30 p.m., free.
