Sunday 1/28: It’s the ModernWell 2018 Writers and Readers Conference! ModernWell is a conference for readers and writers to connect with one another, be inspired by, and have an opportunity to meet with guest authors, agents, publishers, and editors. This year will feature keynote and panel discussions, classes, and workshops. Attendees will enjoy snacks and beverages throughout the afternoon and appetizers and wine at 5:30. Thursday 2/1: Women Against Military Madness (WAMM) presents an evening with Lorna Landvik: “On Writing, Acting, and Laughter.” Landvik will be telling stories from her life as a writer, actor, comic, wife, mother, and peace marcher. Saturday 2/3: Join Green Card Youth Voices for a morning book reading as a part of the Hasting Reads program. After the young authors read their stories from Green Card Youth Voices: St. Paul, there will be a question and answer session with the audience.
