Wednesday 5/16: Shy Watson will be in town to read from her new collection Cheap Yellow alongside Prairie M. Faul, Zach Blackwood, Amy Saul-Zerby, Ash Strange, and D. Ted Tarnovski. 7 p.m. at Tattooed Mom.

Creative at the Cannery returns with readings by novelist Asali Solomon, translator Elisabeth Jaquette, and playwright/actor James Ijames. Hosted by Matt Jakubowski and Christine Kendall. 7 p.m. at Dock Street Cannery and Lounge.

Friday 5/18: Angelo Colavita of Empty Set Press will host the release of his new chapbook Flowersonnets! Featuring readings by Kailey Tedesco, Lindo Yes, and Faye Chevalier, as well as performances by Suuduer and Handsome Devils Puppets. 6:30 p.m. at The Convent.

Breadcrumbs Magazine presents a reading by Josh Dale, Bob Raymonda, Maddie Anthes, Christpher DiCicco, Richelle Kota, Christina Manolatos, Nicholas Perilli, Gabriela Basyuk, Boston Gordon, and Gage Mondok. Copies of their new zine The Path will be available for purchase. 8 p.m. at Tattooed Mom.

Saturday 5/19: Benna’s Café will host a reading by Zach Savich, Hilary Plum, Tim Fitts, and Paul Siegell. 6 p.m. at Benna’s Café

Frank O’Hara’s Last Lover will present poetry readings by Maged Zaher, Joohyun Kim, and Greg Laynor. 7 p.m. at Sam’s Morning Glory Diner.

Sunday 5/20: Excuse My Dust returns for another hour of wit, writing, and weirdness hosted by Jaime Fountaine. Featured performers will be Doogie Horner, Warren C. Longmire, and Betsy Herbert. 8 p.m. at Good Good Comedy Theatre.

The Random Name Poetry Series presents readings by Kayleb Rae Candrilli and Amy Saul-Zerby. Hosted by David Hancock. 7:30 at Dahlak Paradise.

Monday 5/21: Nigerian novelist Chibundu Onuzo will be in town to read from her new book Welcome to Lagos. 6 p.m. at Penn Book Center.
