Spotlight: “The Crone’s Guide to Menopause”


Menopause. I don’t know what it is for you or the women in your life, because everybody’s different, but for me it’s variously like hot-flashing night (and day) sweats, being stung by swarms of bees while running naked across hot lava, foundering in a well of indifference, or being buried and left for dead.


Ruth Halpern is a writer, artist, and spoken word performer.
