Thursday 11/8: The Creative at the Cannery series returns with readings by Jos Duncan, Patrick McNeil, Nathaniel Popkin, and Sabrina Vourvoulias, followed by an open mic. 7 p.m. at Dock Street Brewery.
Saturday 11/10: Sounds & Words, the first annual fundraiser for the Moonstone Arts Center, will feature poetry and music by Bobby Zankel, Sumi Tonooka, Richard Hill, Michelle Myers, Kirwyn Sutherland, Ryan Eckes, Bethlehem Roberson, Sonia Sanchez, Siduri Beckman, Jamarr Hall, Jeffrey Ethan Lee, Kimmika Williams-Witherspoon, and Elliott Levin. The Wooden Shoe will host the Philadelphia release of The Spud, featuring readings and performances by Brielle Brilliant, Pablo Baeza, and Yixuan Pan. 7 p.m. at Wooden Shoe Books and Records.
Sunday 11/11: Philly Zine Fest, Philadelphia’s oldest zine and publishing fair, will host its 2018 exhibition! 12 p.m. at The Rotunda.
