Monday 12/17: This installment of Readings by Writers will feature James Lenfestey, Heid E. Erdrich, William Reichard, Laurie Hertzel, Peter Geye, and Marya Hornbacher. The event will be hosted by Tim Nolan. The University Club of St. Paul, 7:30 p.m., free.

Thursday 12/20: Mary DesJarlais will present The Cutter’s Widow. Barnes & Noble, 5 p.m., free.

Saturday 12/22: Saymoukda Vongsay will sign copies of When Everything Was Everything, with illustrator Cori Lin. Magers & Quinn Booksellers, 1 p.m., free.
