Friday 1/11: Shakespeare & Co. will host the release party for Suburban Springtime Zine, an arts and literary zine curated by Philadelphia-based poet and journalist Erin Moran. The event will feature a series of readings and artist talks by the zine’s contributors! 6 p.m. at Shakespeare & Co. Rittenhouse.
Saturday 1/12: A Novel Idea on Passyunk will host an evening of readings in celebration of Terra Olvr’s new poetry collection And Still to Sleep. Featuring readings by Terra Olvr, Nuna Ulises, p.e. garcia, Jordan Culotta, and Jessie. 7 p.m. at A Novel Idea on Passyunk.
Frank O’Hara’s Last Lover will present an evening of poetry featuring readings by June Gehringer, Emma Brown Sanders, and Lonely Christopher! Hosted by Jason Mitchell. 7:30 p.m. at Sam’s Morning Glory Diner.
Sunday 1/13: Moonstone Poetry will present a reading by Mbarek Styfi and Lisa Grunberger, the winners of the 2018 Moonstone Chapbook Contest! 2 p.m. at Fergie’s Pub.
Monday 1/14: Painted Bride Quarterly will present an evening of poetry featuring readings by Ron Silliman, Levi Bentley, Anna Strong Safford, and Tom Mandel! Hosted by Paul Siegell. 7:30 p.m. at Black Sheep Pub and Restaurant.
