The 34th Street Poets, a poetry workshop whose members include Alyson Adler, Deidra Greenleaf Allan, Sandra Chaff, Barb Daniels, Minna Duchovnay, Betti Kahn, and Nina Schafer, will present a group poetry reading. 6:30 p.m. at Kelly Writers House.
Wednesday 3/27: The Kelly Writers House will host a lunch with Emily Jane Fox, senior reporter for Vanity Fair and author of the 2018 book Born Trump: Inside America’s First Family. 12 p.m. at Kelly Writers House.
Moonstone Poetry will present readings by Steve Burke and Warren C. Longmire, followed by an open mic. Hosted by Alina Macneal and Jennifer Hook. 7 p.m. at Fergie’s Pub.
Thursday 3/28: The Rosenbach will host a reading and discussion with Nathaniel Popkin, centered on a new work, To Reach the Spring. 6 p.m. at The Rosenbach.
Thirty West Publishing will present readings by Krisann Janowitz and Bud Smith, as well as an open mic and a Q&A. 6 p.m. at St. Joseph’s University.
Blue Stoop will present Bryan Washington, author of the short story collection Lot, in conversation with playwright James Ijames. 7 p.m. at Penn Book Center.
Dead Bards Poetry will present readings by Rick Mullen, Anton Yakovlev, and C.M. Crockford, followed by an open mic. 8 p.m. at Venice Island Performing Arts Recreation Center.
