Sunday 4/7: Moonstone Poetry will present the release event for their new anthology Philadelphia Says: Black Lives Have Always Mattered, featuring contributor readings and hosted by Larry Robin. 2 p.m. at Fergie’s Pub.
The Emerging Poets series will present readings by Veronica Nocella and Katbug Stanshine, followed by an open mic! Hosted by Krisann Janowitz. 5 p.m. at Proscenium Theatre at the Drake.
Head House Books will host a book launch event for Busara Road, a new novel by local writer David Hallock Sanders. 5:30 p.m. at Head House Books.
