Monday 4/15: Nick Thorkelson will be reading from his new graphic biography Herbert Marcuse: Philosopher of Utopia. Thorkelson will be joined in conversation by Andrew T. Lamas. Moe’s Books in Berkeley at 7 p.m.
Poets Shauna Hannibal (Hannibal), Fernando Martí, and Zack Rogow (Irreverent Litanies) will be reading from new work as well as the poems of Lawrence Ferlinghetti as part of the Ferlinghetti at 100 celebrations! Folio Books in San Francisco at 7 p.m.

Mui Poopoksakul will be discussing her translation of Duanwad Pimwana’s Bright, the first novel by a Thai woman to appear in English translation. Poopoksakul will be in conversation with Saskia Vogel and Laura Goode. The Bindery in San Francisco at 7:30 p.m.
