Sunday 12/1: Authors Jeff Alessandrelli (Fur Not Light) and Dao Strom (The Gentle Order of Girls and Boys) read from their respective works and discuss their influences in the work of Russian Absurdist authors like Alexander Vvedensky and Daniil Kharms. They will be joined in conversation by Danielle Frandina, Literary Arts Delve Program Guide. Powell’s City of Books, 7:30 p.m., free.

Wednesday 12/4: Bestselling poet and artist Rupi Kaur reads from her published works, milk and honey and the sun and her flowers. Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, 8:00 p.m., $19–55.
