The Poetry Foundation and Cave Canem co-host a reading and discussion on the theme “writing our family’s histories” with Chiyuma Elliott, Gregory Pardlo, and Marilyn Nelson. 7 p.m., free.
Visit Women & Children First for an author conversation with Leila Taylor and Angelica Jade Bastién. The pair will be discussing Taylor’s new book, Darkly: Black History and America’s Gothic Soul. 7 p.m., free.
