Our next Letter in the Mail is from award-winning writer and activist Christopher Soto! Christopher writes to us in the middle of the night, from a “half awake state, not a country but a frame of mind,” about dreams, and why letters written late at night allow him to be his most sincere self.
To make sure Christopher’s poetic and personal letter finds its way to your mailbox, subscribe to Letters in the Mail by April 28! And remember, Letters in the Mail helps us keep The Rumpus running—so, you can correspond with your favorite writers and support the website in one fell swoop.
Christopher Soto completed his Master of Fine Arts in Poetry at New York University, currently works at University of California, Los Angeles’s Ethnic Studies Centers, and sits on the Lambda Literary Board of Directors.
