Adam Carter received an MFA from the University of South Florida. His work has been published in Midwestern Gothic, New Southern Fugitives, The Vitni Review, and other journals. He is the founder of Writers with Conviction, a creative writing program at the Zephyrhills Correctional Facility. He currently lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he works as a State Public Defender.
