Aidan Forster is a queer writer from Greenville, South Carolina. They are the author of the chapbooks Exit Pastoral (YesYes Books, 2019) and Wrong June (Honeysuckle Press, 2021). Their work appears in or is forthcoming from The Adroit Journal, Best New Poets 2017, Columbia Poetry Review, Copper Nickel, Indiana Review, Ninth Letter, Teen Vogue, and Tin House, among others. A 2017 Tin House Summer Scholar in Poetry, they serve as an associate editor for Sibling Rivalry Press. They study Literary Arts and Public Health at Brown University.

The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere. We lift up new voices alongside those of more established writers our readers may already know and love. We want to bring new perspectives into the conversation that will make us all look deeper.
